Bishop James M. Wilkins


Bishop James M. Wilkins was born on October 11, 1946 to Terrel N. Wilkins and Willie M. Medley. He is the fourth of twelve children. He confessed his belief and faith in Christ at the age of eleven. At the age of fourteen he was the sunday school superintendant at the Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church where Bishop W.E. Ellis was pastor. He served in the United States Air Force for four years. Licensed to preach the gospel in 1973 and ordained 1974. Served as associate minister at the Friendship Baptist Church from 1973 to 1983 in which he was installed as pastor of the Peter’s Rock Baptist Church. Since then he has been faithfully training God’s people to this current time.
